SSI Open Water instructor
The required specialty
In order to participate in the seminar you must have the specialty or proof of experience.
Minimum age
18+ years
As for all professionals, the minimum age is 18+ years.
Duration
1-2 half days
Depending on your choice of specialty the seminar takes 1-2 half days.

You receive access to the full course in the revolutionary SSI App, which offers a lot of different languages and online final exams.
After you complete the training
You will receive the Specialty instructor certifcate.
You will be able to teach the specialty to other Recreational divers and co-teach with other instructors.
As an Assistant instructor training you can organise seminars.

If I did the specialty with a different organisation can I still become an SSI specialty instructor?
If you are an SSI Open Water instructor and completed the training with a different organisation this still counts as proof of experience, however it is not possible for us to certify you as an SSI Specialty instructor if you are not an SSI Open Water instructor.

Do I have to come to Samos for the seminar?

Some seminars can be conducted online, others require extra in water skills and techniques. There are 2 options in this case, either you visit our training center on Samos or we can come to you to conduct the training.
