What you will learn

Prerequisites
No experience needed
The core of this training is designed to train anyone with or without experience to become a highly qualified Divemaster.
Minimum age
18+ years
A dive professional must be at least 18 years in order to be legally allowed to work. It is possible to start from 15 years, but the final certification will not be granted until 18 years old.
Duration
4-6 weeks
The duration depends on the amount of experience you have. If you have no experience you will need at least 5 weeks to get the minimum required amount of dives to become a Divemaster (60). With 6 weeks you have more flexibility to also include extra rest days.

Min 12 dives/week
This includes the Open Water diver training and all specialties needed.
After you complete the training
You will earn the Globally recognised Divemaster Title, allowing you to work worldwide.
You can lead other divers and create underwater memories with people worldwide.
You will have the skills needed to become a scuba instructor.

Do I need experience prior to participating
No, the A-Z training is available for everyone and can be adjusted to your needs. The core is designed for people who start without any experience prior to scuba diving, but who want to become a dive professional.

What if I have all or some of the needed specialties with another organisation?
Cormorant Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.
No problem, the A-Z training comes with all the needed specialties, if you already have some with SSI or another organisation you get to choose a different specialty to add to your current experience instead!
Is this training available year round?
Cormorant Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.
It is available anytime from May to October. For other months outside the season we recommend to contact us to see whether or not we will be able to host the training.
